Born in Budapest, Hungary

December 18, 1956
Escaped with his mother and father from Budapest, Hungary across the border to Austria and lived outside Vienna in Liesing


January 1957 - 1958
Lived and went to school in London, England


April 1959
Left Engand for the United States on the LIberte', on the ship's last voyage


April 23, 1959
Entered the USA in New York City, lived in Brooklyn for a year


June, 1963
Graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Queens, NY


June 13, 1967
Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter College, City University of New York


1968-1970
Served as Public Information Officer in the United States Army

Broadcaster on the Armed Forces Korea Network (AFKN) in Korea during the Vietnam War
